Case series of gastrointestinal stromal tumors with lymph nodes metastasis: unusual presentations

Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is a rare cancer of the gastrointestinal tract, it occurred about 0.1-3.0% all neoplasms. Accounted 10% small-bowel tumors, and 10-15% sarcomas. Liver common hematogenous spread in GIST. However, metastasis to lymph nodes consider extremely routine node dissection for GIST was not recommended. Hence, we reported case series that metastasize along our experience center, hospital Taiping, Malaysia from 2010 until 2020. Hereby report total 3 out 18 cases encountered confirmed through histopathology existence metastasis.
